The interstate I-4 is a major highway in Central Florida. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) regularly conducts improvement projects on this major axis such as road widening, construction of new roads and improving interchanges. In order to ease the traffic on this 33 km artery more than 75 bridges will be replaced, 15 major interchanges will undergo complete reconstruction and two new Express Lanes in each direction will be added in the center of the corridor.<\/p>\n

The concession agreement of this P3 (public-private partnership) was executed with I-4 Mobility Partners OpCo. LLC. The agreement includes the design, construction, financing, maintaining and operation of the project for 40 years.<\/p>\n

This project is the largest contract in the history of The Geoquest USA with nearly\u00a0290,000 sqm of Geoquest\u00ae<\/sup> walls. \u00a0Reinforced Earth\u00ae\u00a0MSE panel production began in June 2015. \u00a0Construction of the first MSE wall began in September 2015. \u00a0Completion of the walls is scheduled for the end of 2019.<\/p>\n
